Sara Johnson, Piano

Sara Johnson is from Phoenix, Arizona, and has enjoyed a career as a performer and educator. She graduated from Arizona State University Herberger Institute for Design and The Arts, receiving piano instruction from Dr. Baruch Meir. During her education, she was a first-place winner in the Arizona Musicfest Young Musicians Competition and was chosen to give an honors recital for the Arizona State Music Teachers Association. Moreover, Sara has had opportunities to attend international music festivals, where she has studied with professional musicians and been able to showcase her artistry in performance.

In addition to Sara's solo performances, she has had experience collaborating with other musicians, including vocalists, wind players, and her husband, a trumpet player. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time in nature, reading, and playing with her two cats.

Sara enjoys teaching and is grateful for the opportunity to guide students through their musical journeys. She is passionate about nurturing musical growth and working with her students to best determine their needs.
